HTC Vive is celebrating one year on the marketplace as a complete room-scale virtual reality system. Although it followed the commercial release of the Oculus VR platform, it quickly became the favorite of both developers and users, thanks to room-scale, handheld controllers, and now, the addition of the tracker device that can be put on everything from tools and weapons to the wearer’s body.

Year two will probably see big additions, such as wireless connectivity (which is already being offered by 3rd-party vendors) and greater capabilities from controllers.

Enjoy the video from HTC VIVE with developers from  Google, Owlchemy Labs, Survios, Big Box VR, Against Gravity, CloudGate Studio, Cloudhead Games, Radial Games and IBM  sharing their views on what it’s like to use the Vive and how they have experienced virtual reality through the Vive platform.
