Stores like WalMart, Best Buy, and Target pepper the nations landscape, but just how many of them are there?  Milo has a new infographic that plots these three stores across the US, computing the # of locations per million residents.

Not surprising to see states like Mississippi with 22 Wal-marts per Million residents, but I was a bit surprised to see states like New York with only 4.7.  Is that because there are so few stores, or perhaps because the population is so dense?
