Seac02 has a new video up demonstrating some of their own new Augmented Reality technology, this time in viewing automotive interiors interactively.
what about discovering new car interiors using augmented reality, now you can! In the video below we use our Eligo SDK to explore the interior of the car. Realtime object tracking is made using a Dualcore notebook with a standard webcam.
The framerate’s a bit slow, but impressive for nothing but a dualcore notebook.

Hi June, sorry for the late answer and thanks for the question.
Unfortunately now is not possible to use the application with an iPhone or Android device, we are working on it.
But let keep in touch, I’m going to give you a link for a similar app very soon!!
If you want take a look at our blog http://www.seac02.it/blog/ or if you need more information please write to [email protected]
Can this be done with an iPhone or Android device or is this a PC/Mac + Webcam proposition?
I have a pair of Vuzix Wrap video glasses which plug into my iPhone and give me a 67″ virtual screen to watch video on. If I point my iPhone at the car, can I see the interior on these?
Putting the phone closer and closer to the door opening could kick off a video of a 360 look at the interior as if I was sitting in it.
Or take me on an exciting windy road ride in the car!
Wow, what an experience that would be!
great!! defenetly the best i’ve seen for something like that so far
Impressive – amazing what can be done now. Thanks
