Blender has enjoyed surprising success since it’s transfer to an Open Source project several years ago, and now they’re preparing to release Blender 2.5 at the Blender Conference 2009 in Amsterdam.
It’s been seven years ago that Blender became Open Source, and to showcase all of our achievements, celebrate the release of our Blender 2.5 project, and pave the way for next years, the Blender Foundation is pleased to launch a call for proposals for the Blender Conference 2009, to be held October 23-25, 2009 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
