In April 2020, Sx Tech is hosting the first accelerator program for female Sextech/Femtech entrepreneurs in collaboration with Goodpatch, a global design company tackling business problems with the human-centered design.
Sx Tech will be hosting 7-day design sprint program in Mallorca, Spain, for female entrepreneurs in the Sextech/Femtech field on 20 – 27th April in 2020.
Female entrepreneurs are revolutionising the Sextech/Femtech industries and have introduced various products and services to the market, while continually fighting against the social stigma pertaining to the industry. Sx Tech believes they can elevate more women and foster innovation by applying design thinking and cultivating a close-knit, international female sex tech community whose members continue to inspire one another.
Only 10 participants hand-picked by the organizing committee can join this exclusive opportunity. Furthermore, a participant who develops the most competitive strategy during the program will receive support valued at over £10,000 from Healthy Pleasure Collective, the world’s first Sextech incubator.
Who is it for?
- Must be a woman or femme-identifying.
- Must have experience in launching or prototyping product/service /organization. We accept applications from various position, including but not limited to Founder, CEO, product manager, team leader, facilitator, product designer, project manager.
- Products, services, or organisation of your primary focus must be within Sextech or Femtech industry. Examples for the sub-sectors are:
– AI, VR, AR
– Internet of Things
– BioTech
– Cybersecurity
– Sustainability
– Circular economy
– Health
– Entertainment and pleasure
– Dating, sex apps
– Communities
This program will be suitable for female entrepreneurs who have got brilliant ideas but are having a hard time bringing them to life or those who always wanted to integrate the design thinking into their business ideas but never had a chance to do so with structured guidance.
The support is not limited to but includes consulting, fundraising, branding, product/business development, digital marketing, and access to HPC’s global network.
What is the program about? Under the boundless azure sky in Mallorca, Spain, participants will learn how to frame and answer critical business questions by leveraging the idea of design, prototyping, and user testing; practice iterative design processes in a collaborative environment to realise the ideas; develop enduring relationships with other great minds in the field from across the globe and; absorb the Mediterranean sun on the white-sand beach, while fueling creativity.
Sx Tech will invite applications from female participants of any background, who are currently involved in Sextech and/or Femtech industry. Those who wish to participate need to fill the application form. Sx Tech will then invite selective candidates who passed the first round of screening to a video call to ensure mutual fit before finalising.
