Luxology has just released modo401, which has seen a slow release of new features over the last several months, starting in February. New features in this release include full animation capabilities including constraints for rigging as well as a huge lists of enhancements across the board to asset sharing, importing and export, rendering and materials. Moving from a simple modeler to a full animation suite is no simple task, but Modo seems to have pulled it off expertly.
