Imaginary Forces is a premier creator of “Screen Design” solutions. Screen Design is a small but rich area of motion graphics that specializing in creating computer interfaces or data visualizations for movies. Over on Motionographer they talk about their recent contributions in the recently Terminator Salvation movie.
A recent example of screen design can be found in Terminator Salvation, for which Imaginary Forces created “machine vision” used in POV shots to emulate the human-hating robots’ view of the world. The monochromatic graphics and fixed-width type call to mind early computer displays, suggesting a mechanically-minded consciousness (instead of, say, a sleek, digital one).
They also are responsible for the screen designs visible in Quantum of Solace and the recent Microsoft ads.
